ABOUT AKIL

Born on the Caribbean island of Antigua and Barbuda, Antigua specifically. I enrolled at Midwestern State University to pursue a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in photography, graduating in May 2019. My current work is highly based on product branding, most notably the Element27 brand. 

My approach to design can range from minimalistic for logos to very detail oriented for advertising. While my love for designing is strong, I try to explore other mediums of creating art such as photography, animation and videography to enhance my overall versatility. Working on opening credits for a show has given me a sharp eye for detail and timing.
